2025

  • Scott Crawford (BS, 2013) was a dual major in chemistry and economics and went on to earn my PhD in chemistry at Pitt in 2019. He currently works as a research chemist developing technologies for detecting and extracting economically critical metals.
  • Daniel Collamore (BS, 2021) was recently promoted to Senior Consultant at Deloitte! He credits his economics degree to being invaluable in his career. It provided him with the foundational skills to analyze real world issues both quantitatively and qualitatively. H2P!
  • Liam McLane, (BS, 2018) Prior to his current role, he also worked as an Analyst at the Rand Corporation and as an Analyst at the Army's Artificial Intelligence Integration Center.
  • Lauren Kindja (BS, 2023) I just started law school at Pitt! Excited to back on campus, H2P!!
  • Ethan McPeak (BS, 2020) is Vice President at the Corporation for Interest Rate Management.
  • Joseph Silhanek (BA, 2002) has been teaching AP Economics at South Fayette High School for over 20 years!
  • Elizabeth Matenkoski (BA, 2014) is a Senior Audit Manager at PNC. 
  • Danielle Floyd (BA, 2023) works as a Legislative Aid for Congresswoman Lauren Underwood with the U.S. House of Representatives in D.C.
  • Matthew Reilley (BA, 2015), Recently formed an advisory team with over 200 million in customer assets. 

2024

  • Sanjay Ravi (BS, 2020) was recently promoted to Senior Data Management Professional, Portfolio Holdings in January 2025 at Bloomberg. Prior to that, he was a Supply Chain Data Analyst Senior Professional, also at Bloomberg. Prior to working at Bloomberg, Sanjay worked at American Express, Mass General Brigham, and Incline Consulting Group. 
  • Brendan Bettez (BS, 2020) was recently promoted to Senior Relationship Manager at First Citizens Bank in March 2025. He worked as a Relationship Manager prior to being promoted. Before working for First Citizens Bank, he worked at Citizens Bank.
  • Julia Eger (BA, 2019) was an economics and political science graduate and then received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2023. She is currently a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. 
  • Quinn Danielson (BS, 2019) is a graduate student at the Wharton School of Finance. 
  • Caroline Harpel (BA, 2019) Is a Data Solutions Analyst - Financial Reporting and Analytics at Highmark Wholecare.
  • Shane Cerutti, (BS, 2013) worked for several organizations since graduating including: Northwestern Mutual, Verizon Wireless, Master-Lee Engineered Products, Inc., Century Support Services, ADP, and Call Criteria. He currently works for CallMiner where he's a Data Science Team Lead.

2022

  • Joseph Constanty (BS ’02) was featured in the Fall 2022 issue of Pitt Magazine. He has found career success and an environmentally friendly passion on two wheels. 
  • In October 2022, Debbi Gillotti was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Fellow in partnership with the Pitt Alumni Association and the Office of the Chancellor. Gillotti earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Pitt in 1977, a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Georgetown in 1981, and a Director Certificate in the Women’s Director Program in 2002 from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She is the Chief Operating Officer at nVoq, Inc. and a Member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Pittsburgh.
  • Mason Putt is a two-time Pitt graduate (BS ’20, MS ’21) who works as a financial analyst at DAI Management Consultants, a Carnegie-based consulting firm specializing in renewable energy valuation.

2021

  • Gayatri Pai was a graduate of the first MQE class and a Pitt undergrad. She is now a data scientist with Booz Allen Hamilton.

2020

  • Caitlin McLaughlin, Executive Vice President, Director of Talent and Total Rewards at PNC and a Pitt alumni, spoke to Pitt’s undergraduate classProfessional Development for Economists.
