Andy Ferrara and coauthors awarded $100,000 grant from the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation to organize a NBER conference on the Economics of WWII

Assistant Professor Andy Ferrara and coauthors were just awarded a $100,000 grant from the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation to organize a NBER conference on the Economics of WWII. The conference will take place on April 4-5, 2024 in Boston. The papers will be published in a special issue of Explorations in Economic History, for which Andy will be one of the guest editors.

Congratulations to Andy on this award! It speaks to his entrepreneurial spirit and to the relevance and insights of his research, in this case the effect of a major shock like WWII on the economy.
