Isabella Ortiz

In May 2025, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with bachelor's degrees in economics and politics-Philosophy. My academic interests sit at the intersection of economics, international policy, and criminal justice reform, with a focus on using data to guide equitable and practical policy solutions. I’ve explored these interests through internships with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project, where I supported attorneys on wrongful conviction cases, and with Ashoka in Prague, where I helped advance global social entrepreneurship initiatives. I’m excited to strengthen my quantitative skills in the MQE program and apply them to complex policy challenges. Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, exploring new foods, and reading.
