Lauren Pearman

After 3 years of working for Allegheny CleanWays, a local environmental non-profit, I am returning to Pitt's MQE program to gain analytical skills that I hope to apply to environmental policy work in the future. I am especially passionate about environmental issues at the local and state level and have particular experience in municipal and county waste policy. I previously served as a member of the Pittsburgh Plastics Collaborative, which helped to enact the City of Pittsburgh's single-use plastic bag ban. As Allegheny CleanWays's education coordinator, I developed environmental curricula for a wide variety of audiences and hope to continue working on improving communication of environmental data.

I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 2021 with a B.A., including a minor in Economics.
